March 3, 2013 Regular ESAR racers Sean Johnston and Jim Shipley are vying for a spot in the upcoming Amazing Race Canada competition, and we wish them the best of luck! If you've competed in Storm the Trent, ESAR or RockstAR over the past few years, you'll no doubt recognize these two cousins, and with luck, you'll be seeing them on the show this Summer! January 16, 2013 2013 ESAR posters are now in circulation - over the Holiday break we distributed packages to over 400 Fire, Police and EMS stations across the province. If you haven't seen one at your base and would be willing to print and display a copy, it can be downloaded by clicking here.

January 15, 2013 On Saturday February 16th, join fellow racers and race organizers for the Adventure Racing Story Swap starting at 12:30pm at the Toby Jug Pub (15 Allan Drive in Bolton). This is a great opportunity to share and learn from a wide range of adventure racing experiences, and will be held immediately following the Icebreaker O-Cup#4 orienteering race hosted by Golden Horseshoe Orienteering. November 4, 2012 The 2013 ESAR host site has now been confirmed! Next year's race will take place at Beaver Valley Ski Club in the heart of the Grey Highlands. Roughly 30 minutes southwest of Collingwood, this area is abound with the most ideal of AR-style terrain features, including fast and fun singletrack riding, vast tracts of open land, extensive trail systems and lotsa-lotsa scenic and rewarding checkpoint locations! |

October 4, 2012 Although we're still just a few steps away from formally announcing the host site of the 2013 Emergency Services Adventure Race, we can tell you now that it will be scheduled for Saturday June 15th, at a venue less than two hours away from the GTA. Course scouting will be finalized over the coming weeks, and we hope to be able to share futher details soonafter. Watch for registration to open in early December! |
